INTRODUCTION
With the arrival of new communication tools, it has become necessary to pay particular attention to the protection of privacy. This is why we, the Company (hereinafter "Montréal B-Board"), take the private nature of your personal information seriously and are committed to respecting the confidentiality of the information we collect.
Montréal B-Board undertakes to comply, in accordance with applicable laws, with the obligations concerning the collection and processing of personal and confidential information obtained in the course of operating a business, so that everyone can benefit from respect for their privacy.
This policy (hereinafter the "Policy"), describes the information that Montréal B-Board may collect from users, understood as the end user or the organization you represent or work for (hereinafter the "User" or "Users") in the course of its activities, the purposes for which Montréal B-Board collects it, how it is used, and the circumstances under which it may be disclosed to third parties. In addition, this Policy sets out the rights available to the User regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information. Montréal B-Board undertakes not to collect, use, or disclose the User's personal information other than in accordance with this Policy and applicable laws in Canada and Quebec.
SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
When the User browses the Montréal B-Board website (hereinafter the "Platform"), they accept the terms and conditions of this Policy. If the User continues to use the Platform after a new version of this Policy has been posted, they thereby consent to the changes and will be bound by them.
The information we collect is necessary when we provide the User with a service they have requested. By providing this information, the User consents to it being collected and used as defined in this Policy.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Montréal B-Board may obtain personal information from the User when they save personal information on the Platform or, where applicable, by otherwise transmitting personal information, notably by creating a User account and choosing a password, logging in as a registered User of the Platform, conducting a product search, requesting a service, providing information in their account, contacting us by phone, email, or otherwise, or by filling out a form to enter a contest, request inventory, participate in a promotion, or complete a survey.
We may collect the following information from the User upon registration:
First and last name;
Phone number;
Home address;
Email address; and
Banking information.
The User's personal information will not be kept beyond the reasons for which it was collected. Data deletion occurs when the User deletes their account. The User will then have thirty (30) days to retrieve their data, failing which Montréal B-Board will permanently delete it.
The Platform is designed for use by adults only, as understood in the province of Quebec. Montréal B-Board does not knowingly collect personal information from persons under eighteen (18) years of age.

FORMS AND INTERACTIONS
The User's personal information may be collected through forms, notably:
The Platform registration form;
An order form; and
A contact form.
If the User is not subscribed to our newsletter, they will not receive any emails from Montréal B-Board, except in specific cases (for example: follow-up or expiration of their subscription, follow-up on their free trial, participation in a contest, etc.).
The User's information is also collected through interactions that may occur between the User and the Platform and may be used for the following purposes:
Providing services to the User;
Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations; and
Sending informational letters.
ADVERTISING INFORMATION
Montréal B-Board will only contact you if you wish. If you prefer not to receive advertising information from us, or if you do not want us to use your personal information to optimize your customer experience, please let us know by contacting the email address listed in the "Right to Object and Withdraw" section.
Don't forget to indicate your full name and the email address you used when registering or when making a purchase from us. There may be a processing delay for a request sent by email or mail, and you may continue to receive communications from Montréal B-Board in the meantime.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Montréal B-Board may use third-party services in managing its business and Platform. Under no circumstances is Montréal B-Board responsible for any harm that may arise from these third-party services. To learn about the Terms of Use of these services, Montréal B-Board invites the User to consult their respective websites.
INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS
In certain situations, the User's data may pass through servers located outside Canada. The User acknowledges this and releases Montréal B-Board from any liability for the consequences of such a transfer.
SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Montréal B-Board undertakes not to commercialize the personal information collected without the express consent of the User. The only situation in which personal information may be sold is in the case of a partial or total transfer of Montréal B-Board's business to a third party. In such a case, the transferred data will be subject to the same guarantees as those in this Policy.
Unless otherwise indicated in this Policy, the personal information the User provides will not be transmitted to third parties without their authorization. However, we sometimes share this information with partners.
If the User does not want their personal information shared with third parties or partners, they may object at any time, as mentioned in the following section.
RIGHT TO OBJECT AND WITHDRAW
We are committed to offering the User a right to object and a right to withdraw with respect to their personal information.
The right to object means the ability offered to Users to refuse to have their personal information used for certain purposes mentioned at the time of collection.
The right to withdraw means the ability offered to Users to request that their personal information no longer appear, for example, on a mailing list.
The User also has the right to request access to the personal information we have collected about them and to correct it as needed by contacting the contact person, whose details can be found in the "Contact Person" section below.

SECURITY
The personal information collected by Montréal B-Board is stored in a secure environment. Montréal B-Board has adopted appropriate measures to preserve the confidentiality of personal information and protect it against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, reproduction, use, or modification, taking into account, in particular, its sensitivity and the purposes for which it is used. In addition, Montréal B-Board requires every employee, agent (proxy), or representative of Montréal B-Board to comply with this Policy.
Montréal B-Board is thus committed to maintaining a high level of security by integrating the latest technological innovations to ensure the confidentiality of the User's transactions, in order to protect their personal data and prevent it from being accessed, used, or disclosed without authorization.
However, since no mechanism offers maximum security, there is always some risk when using the Internet to transmit personal information. If a password is used to protect the User's account and personal information, it is the User's responsibility to keep it confidential.
FRENCH AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE
In the event of a discrepancy in definition or interpretation between the French and English versions of this Policy, the French version shall prevail.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We occasionally update this Policy. Continued use of the Platform constitutes the User's agreement to this Policy and its updates.
Montréal B-Board reserves the right to modify or supplement this Policy at any time, at its sole discretion and without notice.
If you object to any change made to this Policy, please stop using the Platform. Montréal B-Board will attempt, to the extent possible, to inform Users of any changes to this Policy. However, it is the User's responsibility to review it regularly in order to stay informed of any changes made to it.
However, where the Consumer Protection Act applies, Montréal B-Board will notify current Users of the Platform thirty (30) days before the changes in question take effect. If the User objects to these changes and no longer wishes to use the Platform, they must send notice to Montréal B-Board within thirty (30) days following the effective date of the changes.
